Welcome to the first bonus episode of The R-N-R Hour podcast.
I hope everyone enjoyed the first episode.
I really put a lot of work into it.
But I was thinking after publishing episode one.
How can I provide you all with more content?
And in my quiet time it came to me.
I should verbally express or better yet share my thoughts with you all.
And you might be asking yourself.
What thoughts are you sharing, Ray.
And to answer your question.
I am simply sharing random thoughts that come to me throughout the day, and mental exercise I practice to make sense of these random thoughts.
So, in addition to the season episodes.
I will be providing bonus episodes called Ray’s Monologue.
These bonus episodes, by the way, have nothing to do with our season story The 7th Island.
And I want to keep these series a moment where I share my thoughts and hopefully provide inspiration.
Lastly, I want to keep these short and straight to the point.
So you all can have the time to reflect on each monologue.
And possibly reconcile with any issue you may be experiencing that pertains to the topic in the monologue.
Now, it's time for today’s topic.
For today, I am sharing my thoughts on the topic: how destruction breeds creation.
This topic was interesting to me.
Because one day I was driving to work.
And I saw the demolition of an old building.
I don’t know why but I started to feel sad because it came to me.
There goes the memories of celebration and struggle.
Yeah, I know.
I am weird.
But, that’s a discussion for later.
Nevertheless,I was thinking
For the last 20 years.
We have seen so much change in our society and environment.
The thought of this change makes me miss what I experienced at a young age.
I was feeling melancholy over our change in society until.
My mind was redirected to the image of the yin and yang symbol from ancient Chinese philosophy.
I don’t know why my mind went there,
But I had a strong need to understand this thought and feelings, and come to some conclusion.
So, I entertained it.
Before I continue, anyone who is not familiar with the yin and yang symbol please google it.
Okay, hopefully everyone now knows this symbol. To give you all a quick description, the symbol tells us that opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another.
Now that we have a definition.
Lets take a deeper dive to make the connection between destruction and yin and yang symbol.
I will say this.
The items that are broken or destroyed in your life.
They provide the pieces that become the foundation for the next item whatever it may be to manifest into your life. Thus creation.
So, destruction breeds creation because it clears the old, leaves the debris from the old, and gives the opportunity for something new to grow all while using the debris from the old as a fertilizer.
We may not enjoy the process of destruction, but it’s the creation after destruction that gives us new life and optimism for what’s comes next in life
Therefore, I will conclude with this.
Never let your spirits down when something comes to an end.
Because that ending will then become the beginning of something new and beautiful for you.
That’s it.
Take care everyone.
